How now?

That is what happens when you deny firms government subsidies; they now have to deal with market forces.

Market forces means people choose not to use power in some ways (reduce consumption) as it becomes more expensive. Same thing with fuel.
I have a house along one of the erstwhile busy bypass , the amount of traffic as compared to some time ago, has a huge difference.

@upepo,
You should know by now how much I respect your considered ideas and deeply-thought out contributions. But some other times you come across as naive, for a lack of a better word.

A monopoly like Kenya Power should never suffer losses. Not here and not on the moon.
Problem arises when there is open kalenjisation and nepotism to an extent that you have no meticulous intake in Kenya Power. In such a scenario what do you expect?

Tugeges don’t want to question this state of affairs where you have CS and entire Staff from one tribe and with no known and recognised qualifications.

Sheesh! Ulikua wapi when they were loss making during the reign of those unalamba mikundu? Even after a government bailout of 6B imagine! Or is it a case of selective amnesia? Are there people depending on you by the way?
