Has anyone else noticed that ktalk are stealing old handles, don't know if they are issuing them to talkers or admin running them. My handle from 2015 has been stolen, password changed. I've seen someone posting bullshit with it in the morning.

Ktalk is no longer fun. Changing the UI was absolutely unnecessary. Imagine encountering a topic which has been on for 3 days but you didn't know existed coz they is no clear way of finding new content when created. You cannot follow discussions either. Look at how majestic bongo's JF looks with basic yet useful functionality. You could have changed the colours but the UI should have remained. Users will spend less and less time in your new site.
