I agree with 1 and 2. On 3 , I strongly disagree, the NPS colleges products are top-notch, failures flunk out during the course. On 4, siku yako ikifika, utanyongwa na maji ukufe.

I often wonder if the public expresses contempt at Police Officers due to the `publics' corruption or the 'police' corruption? Because, that is a young man who was on a dangerous assignment, surely is this the proper response?

The public expresses contempt for police officers because most of them enjoy brutalizing and extorting us. You can downplay, rationalise, victim-blame, and pass the buck all you want, but that's what it boils down to.
