Clashes between the armed forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) and M23 rebels supported by the Rwandan army continued on Tuesday, February 7 in Ruvunda, in the Bahunde chiefdon in Masisi territory, North Kivu.
According to multiple sources, these new clashes are precisely located towards the Ruvunda hills 25 kilometers from Sake and near Mushaki on the road leading to the mining town of Rubaya.
Until late Tuesday (7:30pm), FARDC heavy artillery detonations were heard from Sake city. A situation that is increasingly causing psychosis among the inhabitants of the area. Some, fearing the advance of the M23 rebels, decided to move to either Goma, the capital of North Kivu or Minova, a town in the Kalehe territory of South Kivu.
Other sources claim that the Congolese army has taken over the M23 on the Kilolirwe and Karenga axes. According to sources, The Loyalist Army has reportedly recaptured Karenga and pushed the enemy back into the depths of the park while there are also reports of the recovery of Kilolirwe from the hands of the M23.
Meanwhile, displaced residents are leaving the areas of new clashes and some are flooding Sake.

If you are suspected of trafficking in Msaba land you'd better have enough cash. Kina meria hawaulizwi saana but utavukisha aje mtu Hana passport pale malaba in a wish. If in a bus or lorry and Dere or kanga is on the inn, utavuka. In a private car it's not impossible but it's difficult. A Ugandan over 18 with ID it's okay, a Congolese, that's another story
