NCBA Loop

I am not a Futurama fan .
Three years ago I signed up with NCBA loop .This is after Equity prepaid card started having issues and before that I was using Nakumatt Card .
Loop prepaid has been good app /prepaid card . I have been using the card mostly for online purchases and physical stores . Being able to adjust card limit on the app was a fantastic feature . Most of the available prepaid cards you have to send an email to the respective bank for limit adjustment which mostly takes time to be effected .
I have also been enjoying better exchange rates while using the card online compared to equivalent KCB and Equity cards .
But now it seems the honeymoon is over .Last Friday NCBA loop sent out messages notifying the user's about a major upgrade over the weekend which would entail retiring the legacy app and introduce a new app with more " features" . It seems things didn't go as planned and the upgrade took longer than expected ,and when system was up we had issues with login and when we did the new app ended up being the worst ever in terms of navigation/UI .
With all this happening I think it's time I move to another prepaid card , saidieni na options ideally the prepaid card should have a mobile app for ease of management with regards to access to balance , transaction statement and competitive Forex rates.

Watu wanalia kwa mtandao. Looks like they bit more than they could chew. Ata logo watu wamegundua ni knock off or copied from a cheap design 😂

Personally I use ABSA prepaid card that allows up to 8 different currencies in wallets within the same card including euro, dollar, pound, rand, yen etc.

Shida ni apart from KES, lazima uende branch to top up. But very handy if you travel often.

They even did away with the web based version , by the the time they fix the mess they will lost a big number of users .
Does the ABSA card include an app for ease of management ?

Good morning, sielewi mkuu .Are you saying you can't view card transactions on the app and instead one has to use a web page ?
You asked if the card has an app and I said the bank itself has the app and you can use it for card management.
The Multi-currency prepaid card on the other hand, doesn't have an app.
I don't bank with them so sina ata hiyo app. I log in on their website to views transactions and other services related to the card.

They posted a tweet and deleted but I was able to capture it

Hata the old app had challenges, I remember sending someone some cash then it got suspended mid transaction. I had to send screenshot that I already sent to the recipient. Anyways I have not downloaded the new app so I don't know the challenges it's bringing forth seeing it that I used to purchase licence Keys from Ali baba
