Kati ya Man-U na Arsenali and the sad tale of the duo who sang the hit

Around 2005, a smash single hit the local music scene. It was an incredible piece of art with amazing rhymes and a bass line that helped the entire song together.

Now that today kateam ka akina @Denis Young & co kanakuja Emirates kupata kichapo, I woke up thinking of the song 'Kati ya Man-U na Arsenali' but also had to reminisce on the now departed Drygin and Frakaz duo who separately lost their lives over a decade ago.

Now, there is definitely power in names and the way both lads passed away is truly tragic.

Their lives were cruelly cut short in a rather sad but ironic way. Perhaps their names predicted how they would die albeit tragically.

Frakaz unfortunately lost his life after engaging in a fracas while inside a pub while his partner Drygin succumbed to alcohol poisoning. "Drygin" is a an alcoholic brand popular with the young people due to its high concentration of alcohol.

May their souls rest in peace and may we never, especially us fans of the beautiful game forget them and the timeless banger they gave us.

Frakala was a neighbour in umo. We hooked up several times Kwa Ka joint flani hapo zone 6 ironically the joint was branded Old Trafford, he used to chuck freestyles for drinks aki adopt flow ya Lost Boyz.
