I am not a Futurama fan .
Hapa naona Gachagua is wrong since he is putting it like Sakaja wants all the matatus out of CBD .From the information I have so far Sakajas plan is to have upcountry vehicles use that park .

Kiulizo, even if the current hawkers are relocated, won't others come to replace them and also demand mahali watapewa wauze vitu zao?
Either way something must give in, either we accept our chaotic nature or change must come by force.

Mombasa road , Langata road and Ngong road psv can terminate at Green Park
Waiyaki Road, Limuru road and Eastleigh PSV can terminate at global roundabout .Behind kahama hotel ( which KNHA has already acquired and will be demolished to enhance traffic flow ) a public road dropping at Equity Bank Ngara through that market and a psv terminal should be constructed.
All long distance psv from mt Kenya, North Rift kisumu, etc , etc should terminate at cbd at their current terminal. Picking and dropping one psv at a time. NTSA has over registered the psv saccos causing the big challenge in cbd !

Everyone usually resist change but what sakaja and team needs to do is engage stakeholders for the new opportunities that will emerge.Cbd has become too congested.Also online shops are emerging especially with the current generation.

Both are culprits but matatus contribute more. For instance paradiso za 44 have made Ronald Ngala a stage blocking all the lanes. The effect is jam stretches all the way to city stadium

Politics wise, this is the first crack on the Ruto Gachagua alliance, Gachagua is going all out to try be the Mt Kenya king pin, Ruto wouldn't want a broker between him and his biggest vote block. Next Sakaja is liking this, this fight is making him a serious western Kenya contender if he handles it right, more to the detriment of Rutos plans there.

You are mixing up two issues, there is road congestion caused by personal cars on arterial roads heading to town then there is obstruction by matatus causing grid locks in every road east of Moi Avenue. The side of town that matatus are not allowed flows and it has more personal cars than there is matatus on the other side. Sasa twende Latema, fire-station, Moi Avenue, Tom mboya, Mfangano, Accra..... its matatus creating the chaos, huko hata non peak hours traffic haisongi. They need to be organised so they stop getting into town, parking on roads waiting for passengers to fill up
