Imagine going to bed with a Kikuyu accent and waking up with an American accent, what will you do?

With our superstitious nature, we'll end up saying hayo ni mapepo. We will go to different pastors for prayers not knowing that it is a condition.

Foreign Accent Syndrome is a speech disorder that causes a change in speech leading to a speaker forgetting their native accent and adopting a foreign accent.

Foreign Accent Syndrome is most often caused by damage to the brain caused by a stroke or traumatic brain injury. It is a rear but real condition.

In Uganda, a lady by the name Victoria has the Foreign Accent Syndrome, she woke up with an American accent. Is Victoria not aware of her condition?



Victoria is not the only one, several people around the globe have suffered such condition
