Catherine Kasavuli- iko shida with our health care

These health stories appealing for blood or things like finances really scare me. Kama Kasavuli who is a well known personality has to appeal for blood, what about us who are not known. Tutatoa damu wapi? Nani atatufanyia harambee?

The health care system is totally broken! And a number of Kenyans are just one disease away from poverty.

If you are healthy, thank God for it.

Quick recovery to Kasavuli

Our counties ..... governors made health sector to be a cash cow .
Our leaders don't see the need to improve our health services as they don't attend these public hospitals...... their premium insurance policies shields them from KNH

If over 50 you can't donate blood.
That's what I was informed in KNH

Recall how several counties refused the equipment from National government.
Some like tharaka nthi had their dialysis equipment stolen and they surfaced in Mwiki
Kisii county health care equipment were for in private facilities where desperate patients paid heavily .
10years after devolution, every county ought to have new referral hospital by now !

KNH a national hospital, blood work done in Lancet a private enterprise strategically located near the main entrance to the hospital.

Lest we forget

It is time that as a country we dealt very tough with economic crimes.
Judges adjudicating on hospitals’ embezzlements and looting should utilise their discretion to give longer sentences and stiff penalties.

Trust me, Senators, we have thrown our morals and ethics, as a country, to the dogs.
How does one live with themselves knowing they have enriched themselves with monies meant for poor peoples medicines and equipment?
