Police in Kirinyaga County have arrested a 17-year-old girl for allegedly killing her father at Ndindiruku village in Mwea East sub-county, Kirinyaga County.
According to Mwea East sub-county police commander Daniel Kitavi, the incident happened over the weekend when the student refused to serve her father with food because her mother was not around.

The police boss said the deceased, Justus Mutiso, came home at around 10.30 pm while drunk and started demanding for food from the girl but she refused to give him food since her mother was in a night church (Kesha).
