A good percentage of the other tribes are basically Kikuyu. Mama ni Mkikuyu lakini wanajiita let's say Maasai, kama Saitoti and half the kiuks in Narok and Kajiado. It's PC

8.15m kikuyu
2.0 Meru
.90 Embu

its only fare to do so as the Luhya and Kalengin and mijikenda communities do the same

Meruensis are totaly different from Kikuyuensis. The same case for Embu

Kikuys ,Merus , Embus are near relatives - Kambas are our Distant relatives
Just because they are your neighbours and their Bantu dialect is somehow close to yours doesn't not make them a subtribe of Kikuyu.
Am from Busia and am a luhya even though I can understand aking @coldpilsner waki koroga it doesn't mean we are relatives.

You are wrong. Kambas gave rise to the other three groups. They are the original group from which the others emerged. The older generations from all these groups would, on meeting, communicate with each using their own language.

You are also wrong...it is the maasai that gave rise to all those communities and tribes

What about the abagusii, or kisii, they are cousins to Ameru
you see the customs and traditions of the Agekuyu, Ameru and the Aembu people are exactly the same , the Akamaba have slightly different customs and traditions that's why they were never included in GEMA.
As for the abagusii they are Bantus who share some linguistics with the Ameru , this is not exclusive to the two Bantu communities it runs across the board.

This business of the two being cousins is just a political gimmick
