For more than a year now I've heard different people say Tuskys is more expensive than Naivas.
Me I can't tell because to me they appear to have same prices.
Whether it is true or not, what people feel and believe matters. And if people feel and believe Tuskys is expensive then they will go to Naivas.
The media reports that Tuskys is retrenching a lot of employees. And this will hurt the chain supermarket more because the fewer employees remaining will be overworked and they will not be very professional because they will be always tired.
I don't think Tuskys will survive 2020.

they'll survive, the family has ,been slowly leaving the day to day management to professionals, they've now general managers,they also have plans to list in the nse maybe post uhuru, provided ruto is not the president.Currently they're downsizing their staff in favour of technology.Price wise there's no much difference between naivas and them,even with quickmart.
 
They are also getting pressed by the better capitalised competition. Carrefour, naivas, quick matt all have foreign shareholders with some deep pockets
