Read this story and wonder why we always think that such practices are only associated with western kenya (kisii, luhya and luo) people.

I believe more.
It is kinda understandable though considering the events leading up to the day, the actual day and the biggest chunk must definitely be assigned to the protocol of all those VVIPs and their entourages, accommodation, transport, the big after party etc
