Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo now claims that the people around President Uhuru Kenyatta did not support Raila Odinga's candidature in August 9 polls.
Speaking on Sunday, the legislator said that some individuals misled the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader.
"But we must say some things. There are people who were duping Jakom (Raila)," Otiende said.
"The president himself was supporting Raila but the people around him were not supporting him. I think they sabotaged us."
He explained that the said characters duped Raila before and during the elections.
"Those ticks (said people) must now leave" he added.
