Preparations in anticipation of protests

The government has begun moving security officers, equipment and machinery across the country in anticipation of celebrations or protests in some towns and urban centres when the Supreme Court delivers its ruling on the presidential petition on Monday. As part of the preparations in anticipation of protests, all areas identified as hotspots by the NCIC will over the weekend receive extra deployment of regular, AP and GSU officers. These are Kisumu, Nakuru, Nairobi, Kericho, Mombasa and Uasin Gishu. The other counties mapped by the NCIC as possible epicentres of violence – albeit at a lower risk – are Narok, Marsabit, Laikipia, Lamu, Baringo, Isiolo, Meru, Nandi, Samburu, Bomet, Embu, Nyandarua, Makueni, Busia, Taita-Taveta, Tharaka-Nithi, Kitui and Kajiado. The NPS officers will be also assisted by their counterparts from the Kenya Prisons Service (KPS), the National Youth Service (NYS), the Kenya Forest Service and the Critical Infrastructure Unit.

While I don't expect any nullification to happen ...should in the rarity it does any rightful thinking kenyan should desist from any acts of violence and destruction of property. Baba was played a fool and he banked on non existing deep state to hand him power on a silver platter! Am starting to buy into the school of thought that the handshake and "apparent" frustration of hasora was a clearly disguised plan by ouru to give his deputy a free hand to start campaigns and a headstart while massaging babas ego so that he could have a quiet second term, solidy the family business and walk away whistling polepole. I have seen the petitions and honestly the one that can give hasora sleepless nights ni ya omtata that no candidate got the 50+ 1 .....hizo zingine za tampering ni moot on arrival and hasora knew that elctions are conducted at the constituency level and all he had was to protect it at this stage by having very vibrant and dedicated agents after that he was home dry. But in the interest of our young and emerging democracy such petitions help us strengthen our democracy and ensure that future elections are tight.... ironically the reforms that baba fought for are the ones canabalizing him...be as it may all hail his earthquakeness RailaAmolloOdinga...remember that name!
