Ugenya: Police Thwart Attempts To Torch MP Ochieng’s Home As CDF Offices Vandalized

don't condone violence in this or any other case. Lakini you can understand their frustration. Siyo
You are contradicting yourself...you say you don't condone violence but you understand why it is necessary for them to go burn someone's house and offices?? Would you still understand them if it was your house?

I'm saying that the law should make it possible to recall an MP. The current law makes it almost impossible to do that. The law is meant to obtain and continue a balanced level of safety, fairness, order and justice..

We all agree that this MP wouldn't have been elected if he had not decieved his voters that he would work with ODM. That's not fair. When MPs break their campaign promises, they should be recalled in a simple procedure run by IEBC.

This is an issue that affects peoples fundamental right to representation. Remember that when Moi refused to allow multi party democracy, he was faced with defiance and demonstrations. The law should be amended to make it easier to recall scumbags like this one.

Easier recall of deceptive and poor performing MPs would help us with this mess. It's unfortunate that we have to wait for 5 years to kick them out. The constitution intended to make it possible to recall MPs. Then the MPigs went and mucked up that law.

What will happen when the shoe is on the other foot and your MPig does stuff that's against the majority in your constituency?

Make me understand. When you are frustrated for whatever reason, you vent by destroying public and private property. That is nearderthic my friend.

Read my comments above.

Ushajijibu but does it warrant destroying of personal & public property to pass a message

I understand that part of Kenya and their passion quite well, they being my in-laws, my Kalausi Bro in law once had his vehicle stoned, for his Facebook post and media utterances.

You sound as ignorant and like those racists white bigots when caught pants down invoke, "you know I have a black friend (at the office)".

You're trying to hard.

I had ignored that part of their argument. See how hard they are trying to pull me into the muck.

The keyword here is deception. The voters understood that his party was friendly to ODM. There was some understanding that he would work with ODM. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been elected. Not in Ugenya.

Unasema recall? That law is made by the pigs and for the pigs. They have to wait for 24 months before they can initiate a recall. He knows he is well protected by the law.

Understand ujinga? Understand why? Why do we as Kenyans - and Africans - hold ourselves to such abysmal standards? Unaweza sikia eti voters wamechoma nyumba ya politician Japan or Sweden? And one more thing. CDF office inahusiana nini na MP? I don't know what I find more objectionable - bonobozzz being bonobozzz or you guys trying to somehow rationalize primitive behaviour...

I'm not defending their violent actions. I'm giving a logical explanation of their action. It's just like a convict would explain killing someone by saying they were provoked. This does not change the fact that a crime was committed.

Why are you people unwilling to look at this issue from any other angle other than "ni njaruū"? Why can't you see that those voters feel absolutely shortchanged? They have been shown the middle finger and asked "mtado?"!
