Tomorrow is 2nd August, 2022, on which day we shall be marking exactly 40 years since Senior Private Hezekiah Ochuka Raballa ~ in the picture below ~ the Kenya Air Force Officer with balls of Steel together with other Freedom heroes such as Raila Amollo Odinga, sought to liberate Kenyans from the stranglehold of dictatorship, impunity and misrule.

I will not get into the historical, biblical, social, cultural or political significance of the number '40' by mentioning that 40 is the number of years that the Israelites wandered in the wilderness before they were finally liberated, or that the upcoming electoral contest is between Baba on the one hand, against 'Ali Baba and the 40 thieves' on the other, or that every thief has only 40 days before getting caught like Gachagua was just the other day when the Courts ruled that the 200 Million bob that he looted from us be recovered.
