I think the laws attempt to value women the same as men and ultimately everyone is healthier and safer.
In my jurisdiction the onus is now on the accused sexual offender to prove consent.

Ps: before you start, offenders can be of either sex.

Not really, it's all about ego of women, granted for years men have always have extreme power with over women. But nowadays women and men all enjoy same human rights though in some jurisdictions women have higher rights.
Women have been known to be brutal emotionally then cry foul. Men are assumed to be guilty till they can prove themselves innocent . Kama ile ya rugby players,you engage in 3some, then cry rape when pregnant.
No wonder the social fabric in the west is cracking, soon they'll be forgotten empires. Nature of the world, the male species hold the ultimate power, you disrupt it, nature disrupts you.
Johnny depp was guilty till he could prove himself innocent with concrete evidence yet it only took her words to ruin him.

☝️☝️ This is profound and indicative of a biased system, if he didn't have the money for a quality legal representation and foresight to record the happenings, she would have ridden the roughshod over him, his career would have been over as some of his contracts had been already cancelled due to 'allegations' that were later proved false.
Entitlement by women especially those born after 1980, is present everywhere leading to men rebelling against it, I am sure it won't end well. At the same time chivalry is being killed by it, Last year in an on job training course, men noted that 90% of their female colleagues wanted all the rights that comes with being a female, but none of the responsibilities.
I am from the school of thought that believes, for every action there is a responding reaction. That's why toxic masculinity is being viewed as a natural reaction to toxic feminism.

We are just attempting to correct historical injustice on women.
Men historically holding power doesn't make it right. For example gender pay gaps still exist.

Women overwhelmingly bare the burden of unpaid labour in the household like preparing food and fetching fuel.

Of course like with anything, there are those that try to manipulate the system for their own ends.

Unpaid labour? Is that what people call doing chores these days? So when a man changes the tires of his wife's car, fixes a bulb, a toilet seat, the plumbing he should be compensated financially by his wife? 😂😂😂

Men and women can never be equals, that's simply nature, all over the animal kingdom, male species are generally larger and assume the protection role while females were either to look after the young ones or hunt or prepare meals depending on animal class.
Soon those laws will chew the societal fabric till a balance is achieved or simply revert to the natural ways.
