Aside from sex, marriage is great despite the highs and lows and it is the one union that can make or break a man. The choice on who to spend your life with, raise children up with, invest alongside and ultimately leave a legacy with is IMO, the most critical decision one can make.

I'm not oblivious that some people's true colours show up later and that's unfortunate but let us celebrate this God's gift to man.
