What I love about thugs is that they will cover their faces while paying little attention to the clothes they are wearing. When you wear your regular clothes to such a crime scene, you might as well keep your face visible. Clothes give people away faster than the face does. These fools will be identified before the end of the day.
Just some advice: If you are ever caught in a shameful situation (e.g. with someone's wife) and need to get away without giving away your identity, the best thing to do is to take off naked. Those who see you in flight have no reference images to work with, which means they won't recognize you as readily as they would in your regular clothes. Also, the brain takes much longer to process the image of a naked body.

And most importantly situational awareness is key, they must have followed her on foot and probably could have given themselves away

Well, hiyo sikatai, but the case here is a woman involved, she should have taken all the pre-cautions, I drink till late sometime when am not working but am always on high alert. Not once I have had to leave the car behind and opted for a taxi bike, cuz najua niko na mtu as I am opening the gate to my house. Anyway kila mtu 'husoma na yake'. I feel for the lady, probably a lesson well learnt.
