Common-Rail Direct fuel injection is a direct fuel-injection system for petrol and diesel engines. Alfa Romeo 156 2.4 JTD became the first passenger car maker to boast the CDI system and, in the very same year, Mercedes-Benz joined the stream with its W202 model.

TSI - “turbocharged straight injection” - inspired by the technology of Volkswagen’s TDI Clean Diesel and FSI direct fuel-injection engines TSI engines are compact, high-powered & use less fuel. They allow higher torque at lower RPMs, which means more power with less fuel usage

Variable Valve Timing with intelligence, this is variable valve timing technology developed by Toyota. The Toyota VVT-i system replaces the Toyota VVT offered starting in 1991 on the 5-valve per cylinder 4A-GE engine.

Cgi?
Kompressor?
Kompressor is German for Compressor = meaning the engine is not naturally aspirated but uses a gas compressor to force more air into the combustion chamber than would be possible under atmospheric pressure. Gas Compressors in the automotive industry are typically of two types, turbochargers and superchargers.Turbocharges are driven indirectly by the exhaust gasses of the engine. Supercharges are driven directly by the engine, typically through a drive-belt.

CGI is a fancy term that stands for Charged Gasoline Injection – referring the sort of engine employed in the C200. It's a four-cylinder power plant that uses a turbocharger, rendering a power output characteristic of a vehicle with a slightly larger engine capacity.
