Fuel Shortage: The Genesis

Notquite.
If we removed private cars from roads, the number of vehicles would reduce to ¼ of the current number. That means there would be less jam and thus faster evacuation of passengers from the bus stops. Jam would be history.
Also if they raised parking fees to like 3k per day, it would go further to reduce traffic in town

Which convenience is there when you have to queue for hours to get 2k worth of fuel?

Kwani I queue for how many hours daily? In all this crisis, I've only queued once and for a maximum of 15 minutes at a Rubis on Northern Bypass. 4k takes me at least a week.

For that 4k, I leave at my own time, I stop where I wish, I leave my stuff and tools secure in my car, I have no stranger to make small talk with, no one opens windows to let in dust and smoke (I don't even understand why people drive around with windows down when modern cars have such elaborate and effective climate control in them), I don't have to WAIT or make time for other people who have their own schedules, etc.

Because AC even in the fanciest cars can never match fresh air?

Because it's not normal as a human animal to move around in a closed box for extended periods?
