Gatundu and Ichaweri demand respect for Uhuru Kenyatta

All said and done,no presidential hopeful has ever campaigned in a sitting or outgoing president's constituency.
That is what is surprising in Ruto's foray into Gatundu. That is what neegas are calling a dis.

Even if the locals are supporting him, ruto should have just called opinion leaders from s. gatundu to Karen or thika and talk with them to continue spreading the gospel of UDA. He shouldn't underestimate uhuru influence, even if it is at 20%, those are serious votes numbers since ruto is 100% dependent on mt Kenya votes.

Otherwise, the campaign team of azimio against him is huge, rao is out of the country but from the news azimio team was all over, especially in Nairobi.
Sahi ruto must be in all the swing counties 24/7 , na nikama ame give up on NE, duale has been silent of late. Halafu most UDA team cannot campaign without ruto, especially outside mt Kenya and rift valley.

I was asking the exact same question. Okis alikuwa anatuwekea thread kila siku Ruto was abroad, lakini nimeona just one single thread ya Baba. Mzee was just sleeping. His speech was similarly sub par ata sikumaliza kuona. All I see is a sickly old man that reminds me of Mugabe.

Hii ndio effect ya skewed media coverage. A day ago niliona NTV journalists getting manhandled ati they have taken the space of another media company. It is like NTV is the only station staying impartial.

Pretty sure Uhuru went to Othaya to campaign in 2013!
Anyway the key word here is OUTGOING!

Things you should notice.

1. New updates on Ruto and Mudavadi social media pages are about receiving non current MP aspirants who are vying on the party tickets. Current MPs who are purportedly defecting to UDA are being received for the second time for optics. E.g Kirinyaga MCAs and Gilgil MP

2. Azimio campaign is widely spread. You may not see Simba Arati and Onyonka on TV but if you follow them you will realise guys are seriously campaigning for Baba in Kisii. Same case with Munya who is constantly on campaign in Meru away from TVs.

3. North Eastern was swing but its gone. Only Duale is left. Even a party that Lawyer Ahmednasir founded moved to Azimio.

4. Turkana was swing but it's only Nanok who is left.

5 Ruto is not doing any more fundraising. Ask yourself why.

6. The capture of Mudavadi and Wetangula was an earthquake that had a boomerang effect. It has lifted the profile of Sakaja and Malala as gubanetorial contenders but diminished Kenya Kwisha in Western. Mudavadi's current senator Khaniri who was voted on ANC defected to jirongo's party this week.

7. Kalonzo's move to Azimio has locked Ukambani.

8. Ruto is now relying on Mt Kenya to vote for him 95% and the turnout to be 90%. He knows this is not possible.

The buses were first parked near ACK Kiamwangi and they walked to the Kiamwangi Shopping centre . Wakaanza vurugu huko .
