Hata nyinyi mnakujiwa....tax collection targets must be met and achieved for bonuses.

Taxes should apply after sales. Kama hujalipwa kesi ni ya Nini?
 
How can you agree to an out of court settlement and then come along claiming unaonewa? That settlement was made part of the high court judgement! Why is Keroche disowning it? Can they appeal?

I have avoided getting into the politics of the whole issue. But beware of a party that claims political persecution every five years.

That agreement was contentious ab initio. Coz the principal amount was contentious. Was to be based on the outcome of another ruling, which keroche appealed. So no way they could pay if the matter is still under judicial consideration.

KRA claims that Keroche failed to account for taxes collected. It claims that Keroche did a self assessment and determined that the taxes are owed. Consequently, KRA wants to shut down Keroche because it believes that Keroche is using tax owed to fund it's operations.

Who is telling the truth?

The issue is the law available for KRA to recover the taxes.
