FKF Premier League giants GOR Mahia have named former Football Kenya Federation Technical Director Andre Spier as their new head coach, less than a week after firing Mark Harrison and his assistant Sammy Omollo.
Kogalo had named Paul Nkata as interim coach, but have moved with speed to appoint a new tactician just before their next premier league tie.
At the same time, Seasoned Kenyan coach Michael Nam has been appointed the assistant coach.

Struggling Mathare name John Kamau as new coach
The club is however confident that Kamau’s arrival will spur the club into good results, noting they are confident of pulling out of the basement.

Mathare United have named John Kamau as their new head coach, taking over from Ezekiel Akwana who was sacked last month due to poor results. Kamau joins the team coming in after also facing the sack at Wazito FC where he was an assistant coach to Francis Kimanzi.
Kamau was swept aside at Wazito when the club decided to fire the entire technical bench due to unsatisfactory results. He will join Mathare alongside one other member of the sacked gang at Wazito, goalkeeper trainer Samuel Koko.

Struggling FKF Premier League side Nzoia Sugar have unveiled Salim Babu as their new Head Coach as the first leg draws closer to completion.
The tactician was presented to the public on Friday afternoon in Bungoma.
He has had stints in the dugout at Sony Sugar, Western Stima and Wazito where he briefly served as an assistant coach.
The immediate former Kisumu All Stars coach fills the void that was left by Ibrahim Shikanda who walked out on the team midway through its first leg campaign.

Former Kenya international Francis Kahata is back in the FKF Premier League after agreeing to a year long deal with the ambitious Kenya Police FC. He joins after a six month stint with Ethiopian top tier side Sidama Coffee.
The widely travelled midfielder started his club career at the now defunct Thika United before having stints at Italian club Ravenna, South Africa’s University of Pretoria and Albanian side KF Tirana in various years between 2006 and 2014.
