A court has quashed the decision of the Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua to transfer the Chief Land Registrar Sarah Njuhi Mwenda to the State Law Office and Department of Justice.

Ms Mwenda, who had also been suspended by President Uhuru Kenyatta six years ago over corruption allegations, was transferred from the Ministry of Lands in February 2020 after the withdrawal of a graft case involving the Sh8 billion Karen land scandal.

But Labour Relations judge Linnet Ndolo quashed Mr Kinyua's decision and ordered the reinstatement of Ms Mwenda to her position of Chief Lands Registrar. The judge found that the redeployment was irregular and unlawful.

"Positions in the public service are not candy to be given and withdrawn at will," said the judge.

While menstruating, you missed this part which almost sums up Uhuruto "error". Fidelity to the rule of law is a very important cornerstone to the wellbeing and prosperity of any society. However discomforting, laws, rules, regulations and procedures should never be treated as suggestions. That is the reason why advanced societies get to jail their former presidents and ministers as we struggle convicting chicken thieves simply because procedures around arrest and evidence gathering were not followed by overzealous people in authority.

No what they are saying is that you cannot hire people for your own convenience and when you are not happy with them fire them or transfer them as a punishment. The law must be followed....they should blame the AG

The lady was fired for using her position as registrar of lands, to fraudulently allocate some 8B piece of land in Karen. So govt cant fire corrupt civil servants?

Not yet. It's not that time of the month yet. When it comes,I will give further commentary on corruption and the Uhuru error then you can make you brilliant deductions. And jailed presidents and chicken thieves.

It is incumbent upon whoever is making a claim of fraud to present the facts. Well they took her to court but wakakunja mkia and withdrew the charges.
What the judge is simply saying ni kwamba enzi ya roadside declarations iliisha

Everyone knows about that 134 acre piece of land in Karen worth 8B that she fraudulently allocated, land belonging to Da Gama Rose but she gave it to grabbers including politicians. Yes they took her to court but realised she had been at the mercy of cartels that were eyeing the.land. The govt wanted to send the message that govt officers weren't to be held hostage by cartels and land thieves. She is the one who signed the documents and thus had to go.
