Because kenyan companies only buy used imports and the only country they can get used right hand trucks is the UK. I watched a documentary on a trucking company in the UK and they said they lease the trucks and when they reach 400,000 - 600,000 miles they dump them in Kenya where there is a ready market.

Just because a truck has a KDG registration doesnt mean its new. It's most likely a "new 8yr old used import" with 600,000 miles on the odometer.

And a company will add that to its fleet? Beyond kulamba matako, do you know anything about how the world works? Do you know why corporates buy new and from local dealers?

Many companies contract/outsource transport services. So they will advertise the tender and what @Meria does is import a "new" 8yr msedes with 800,000km from the UK to offer the service.
