Alcohol should be illegal tooReligious zealots will continue holding this country back. I will never understand how cigarettes and alcohol are legal. Ama ni vile yesu alibadilisha water to wine?
Here we go again!Religious zealots will continue holding this country back. I will never understand how cigarettes and alcohol are legal. Ama ni vile yesu alibadilisha water to wine?
You do realize the meaning of zealot is a fanatic. Religious fanatics are in islam too chopping heads and in other religions as well. Which brings me to this, how would your local pastor react if you told him you run a big club? What would they say if they learnt you smoke shisha, weed or even have a tattoo? Here we go again!
Nowhere does Christianity touch on bhang or substance usage/abuse. Neither does it say drinking is a sin.
Being drunk is something else altogether and even our laws and customs look down upon wanton drinking and its effects including health issues.
Being mad at God is one thing but ignorantly blaming religion is something I will always correct while acknowledging that people have a right to make their own choices - good or bad.
He would rebuke me if need be but still love and accept me as all of us are fallen.how would your local pastor react if you told him you run a big club? What would they say if they learnt you smoke shisha, weed or even have a tattoo?
Whatever you have said only applies to those who believe in that line.He would rebuke me if need be but still love and accept me as all of us are fallen.
Religion is determined by your deeds. What you do and don't do earn you salvation and that's why Christianity really isn't a religion in that sense because it's not about my good deeds that I am saved but rather because of what Christ did on the cross.
Indeed, it is written in Romans 3:23 that "...all have sinned and fallen short."
God is not in the business of keeping a record of our shortcomings, when you understand His love, the redemptive power of the cross removes the burden referred to in scripture as the yoke of sin.
A lot of theology I know but imagine one day you might just get to that point.
What Scumbag amesema is exactly what I am putting across. For those like you who have transcended the imaginary boundaries set by man through intentional misinterpretation of the bible or otherwise, at least you recognise your free will. Others are not as lucky. The judge those who drink, those who smoke and consider those things sins.He would rebuke me if need be but still love and accept me as all of us are fallen.
