Let's talk SACCOS

A minimum of a K every month.
What I mean is, how much interest did they give on deposits. Usually shares (which are non-refundable) earn a very high dividend. Being that they are non-refundable, people don't buy that many shares. Deposits (which are refundable) is where most people "store" their cash - but the return on deposits is normally not as high.

The advantage of deposits in Sacco's is low WHT on interest compared to WHT on interest earned from MMFs. Personally I'm more inclined to MMFs as savings method because of the low risk compared to Sacco's.
