For a moment there I was not sure if Addis would fall or not...

Now the TPLF is in full retreat, being hammered by Chinese, Iranian and Turkish-made drones like shit. Wamesema eti they are doing a tactical retreat to their own borders, ha ha ha!

I had not seen this letter. Just notice how many times the guys are referring to 'drones'. Kenyan military intelligence says the Chinese ones have been devastating to Tigrayean forces...baggas are now requesting a no-fly zone...

The Tigrayans abroad released a lot of propaganda against Abiy's regime. Acha watandikwe.
 
Except that was a secondary problem, his primary one being the TPLF leadership he failed to kill or capture when his ENDF invaded Tigray, they are still out there with the backing of an enraged populace.

This would be an opportune time to get them to the negotiating table, they are going to bankrupt that country if they keep fighting in a war that is clearly a lose-lose for both sides.

The economic cost of this conflict will haunt them for some decades

They are not stupid, the talks will be attended by emissaries in neutral locations like Nairobi, Pretoria or a European city

This is the second conflict where drones have proven to be game changer. Their relative low cost (acquisition and operational) and wide availability will change the nature of conflicts going forward.
Swali ni, can it be a game changer in conflicts like Pokot, Congo, Northern Nigeria, Mozambique?

But am also asking, what if both conflicting parties have drones and technology to intercept them?

That means both parties are at near par in terms of budget, international relations e.t.c, then the millitary firepower status quo doesn't change. Whoever has the bigger economy hence bigger military budget, however can outlast his adversary in a long drawn conflict will carry the day, just as it were before drones
 
Drone wars aka PlayStation killing will level the battlefield. Actually, insurgents fighting unconventional wars will have the upper hand.

The effectiveness of drones in war was out on display when Azerbaijan and Armenia walishikana mashati. Armenia was pummeled mercilessly with those Bayraktar TB2 drones. World powers looked away and whistled but are now a worried lot.
