Despite his old age and poor health, he never misses the trial court to face the killers of his son, Willy Kimani; the lawyer who was murdered while in police custody and his body dumped into a river. He frequently breaks down and sobs silently as the accused confess and give gruesome descriptions of how they carried out the murder.
“I am not well physically. Does the government want me to die before getting justice for my son?” he recently asked. May he find comfort and justice.
