Early September while I was gallivanting the streets of twitter I saw a tweet where the subject was for job seekers to post what they are qualified in.
As I was scrolling I noted there was a jobless young lady who had the qualifications like mine.
I opened a new twitter account and started to engage her (couldn't use my own real account for obvious reasons). She had a strange handle on twitter with zero photos and like 5 tweets. So here we are two strangers talking to each other. Anyway, after confirming she had the papers, I asked her to send me her CV (of course to a new gmail account that I created). I forwarded her CV to HR and after three weeks she was called for interviews. She passed the screening and the first round of interviews. I was a panelist in the second round of interviews but I excused myself from interviewing her. However, I prepared her well for the interview, all on twitter. She passed the interview.
In October she was offered a contract. 130k per month. The young lady was excited. She wanted to meet me in office and thank me personally for what I had done for her. I politely declined but wished her well in her new job. I deactivated that twitter account since it had served it's purpose.
