O.B. No. 3/07/12/2021 time..03.30 HRS

SUB; SHOOTING INCIDENT REPORT. This occurred Today at around 0100hrs, where it was reported by one Purity cheruiyot of Tel. No. 07****, a Neighbour of one No. 61593 pc Benson Imbatu a Resident of j Heights Apartments near N market that she had a loud bang from a House occupied by the said Officer and his Wife only identified as Carol. afterwards there was Fire in the House and decided to ran to Kabete Police Station. Police Officers proceeded to the Scene where it was found out the said Officer had shot Dead the said Wife on the Neck. the Officer while armed with AK 47 Serial no 4915724 went on a Shooting spree where he shot and killed five people including two bodaboda riders one who died while undergoing treatment at knh. two other people sustained gunshot injuries and are undergoing treatment at KNH. The Officer later committed Suicide by Shooting himself on the Neck. The Firearm was recovered with four rounds of Ammunitions. four empty Cartridges were recovered within N Market. Further report to follow including the identification of the victims

If using Waiyaki Way, kindly avoid the section between Mountain View and Kabete. Road blocked on both sides. But police have arrived to disperse the rioting crowd.

They should investigate this properly. Were there signs that he would turn into a mass killer? What is his history? Was he a drugs abuser? Was he a troubled employee.

Guys like this are a danger to everyone including their bosses.
