I visited Ndeiya for the first time last weekend

Was from kikuyu and decided to take a right turn and then got to gikambura, lussigetti (Rosegate), Nairobi dogo, kamangu, thigio, ndeiya mpaka I joined the limuru Road. I was impressed by the brand new road and huge tracts of land. Kwa bumps there were ladies giving fliers advertising plots for sale. I am seriously thinking of getting myself a piece.

While growing up my grandma used to tell us folktales about ndeiya and it was a honour to visit the place.

Also my grandma tells me her great great grandma was a masai girl captured from masais in the Kedong valley neighbouring ndeiya during the many raids kikuyu warriors made in masailand. So visiting ndeiya was also some sort of homecoming.
