Lord we come before you this morning with thanks giving. For the gifts of life, health, sanity, family, friends and Kenyalist.

We pray that you start the day with us. Guide our steps and thoughts. Bless the work of our hands. Give us the energy and willpower to do what is right before you. Let's Not Come back empty-handed in the evening.

We pray for protection. Grant us divine safety. In our travel and in our hustles. Protect our children, friends and parents. Protect our country.

Cleanse us Lord. Give us hearts as pure as yours. Remove all evil in us, and all the evil amongst us. Those who live on the sweat of others, we condemn them. Punish, or even annihilate, "leaders" who use their position to enrich themselves or oppress others. Or bring division amongst brethren Bring confusion to their scheming minds. Remove them from our midst.

This is our prayer of faith today.

Though I have wished you a painless day some where , my God bless us and be kind to us all in this village.

I mean, of course you will become angry with me, won't you? Must we always be telling God what to do and how to do his work? Doesn't the big, old and good book say that God already knows our wants even without us telling him? Aren't we wasting our precious God given resource of time when we stop doing what is obvious in order to go on one way conference with him?

God isn't a waiter to fulfil all our whims and desires.
He is beyond what man can comprehend and prayer is an act of submission that He is in control, very much like a steering wheel unlike a spare wheel which is only called upon when the going gets rough n tough.
