I am not a Futurama fan .
The side underride guard would also have played a big role in ensuring they don't go under the truck .
Whoever is responsible for local road safety implementation is a joker . Late October I drove from Mombasa to Nairobi at night and the reflectors that are fixed on trucks are not effective .Unaweka full lights ukiwa nyuma ya lorry and the damn things don't reflect .The only effective one are the thin strips that are glued to the trailer .
The rear and side guards should be mandatory for trucks .
