I was thinking something along the lines of talking about anything that interests the community.

Also writings that reflect the current times i.e. mashujaa day , autobiographies of election hopefuls etc.

Perhaps even a starting a book of the month. a rotating option for listers to put up writings that they would like to discuss through the month.
