yes they're well paying careers but look at our situation in kenya, football doesn't pay,or any ladies sports. We have very good rugby talent in high school but after that they hit a dead end.
What most people are advocating for is to find content or system that would work for Kenyans.
How many Kenyans can appreciate art?or rather can pay an artist 50k for a good image? ,this system is good for societies in self actualization bracket.
no need for name calling, but I get your point. Pathways are different animals, its basically saying you belong to this path from the age of around 14/16 years, my problem with that is that, arts, sports, music are creative fields that should be available to all, if your kid is sent to that pathway and then they get an injury if they were following the sports track they are done, those should be complimentary tracks not main ones.
one can be a doctor and a musician, or sports person.
