The takataka is not the people but the bottom up snake oil economic model. & I agree with him.

The only medicine for the economic cancer in Kenya is reduction in corruption/theft/plunder/greediness/looting/thuggery.

True, politicians will label all sort of names to the lies they tell people.
Only solution is as you've stayed above, include having a functioning legal system and accountability, to keep things at check.
To add onto all this, Kenyans have to want better for themselves and we have to change our habits. We aren't saints as we think of ourselves.
