After a lot of the empty threats, it seems that Kiunjuri has been shown the door while the following will lead the named ministries.

Mutahi Kagwe - CS Health (Great move!)
Betty Maina - CS Trade
Rachel Omamo - CS Foreign Affairs
Sicily Kariuki - CS Water and Sanitation
Peter Munya - CS Agriculture
Monica Juma - CS Defence
Simon Chelugui - CS Labour
Ukur Yattani - CS Treasury

Mutahi Kagwe seemed like a competent guy, I hope he actually is able to deliver. Betty Maina if ni yule alikuwa KAM then I also have some high expectations of her. Iyo switch ya Monica Juma na Rachel Omamo sijaelewa; I thought Juma was fairly experienced in foreign affairs. Labda wale wanajua zaidi watatuelezea why there has been that and other switches.

But ukweli wa mambo as long as Macharia is still there sijaridhika.

If I were Kiunjuri I'd be rejoicing in relief. It's a thankless task working for a treacherous ingrate.

There have been too many narratives.

Kiunjuri had it coming...the moment you heard him start holding rallies for MPs to endorse him as the next Mt Kenya kingpin I knew he was preparing the public so that he plays for the sympathy card. Sasa ngoja usikie ati he has been sacked "for daring to dream".
