Agreed. People who publish textbooks are guaranteed business because those books cannot be reused.

During my time I only bought new textbooks in form 1. Then I became wiser. Whenever I needed new books I would go to KBS garage in Eastleigh and got books which were as good as brand new for a fraction of the cost.

yea, it makes more sense to teach a child how to draw, and then color their own drawings, write numbers and then form calculations out of those numbers and then solve those calculations....CBC looks very lazy

Kids get to spend much less time writing down questions, always found it tiresome and a waste of time. It is nice seeing them complete their homework in less than 20 minutes and off to play with their friends.

Mnasema nini? I got a book list. If I buy all the books in that list,both syllabus and recommended,I will have spent 17K.
No uniform,no school fees no pocket money. Books alone.
They messed us up.

Hehe , i can see you have a similar dilemma. You can't even sell or re-use if you have kids closely following classes.

That @Deep Sea specific teacher is lazy, my kid has to copy the sums onto the exercise book then work them out.
