Random online photos from Tigoni...
I spent a significant part of my childhood time growing up around Tigoni near the Maramba Tea farm, and now tea factory. It was very beautiful back then with dense mîthandûkû forests that protected lots of wild passion fruits, nganangû, nathi, ndafifi, etc, etc. Today the passion fruit has become a cash crop, already.
Hii ndio ilikua kanisa yetu
It was very beautiful. Then, baadae after some years I visited there nikapata kulichakaa sana with haphazard developments and buildings. So ikiwa you find the place beautiful today, imagine how lovely it was back in the early eighties!
We lived in a farm called Gatina. Probably here...
