@Meria as a long time resident of Mwambao wa Pwani,by now you should have had enough interactions with mateja wanaotumia hash. Na si heroin,hiyo wao hudunga.
This drug turns even the most active person into a total zombie... Methinks that there is going to be a population decline in the next few years in the coastal region coz this drugs has taken over the generation that is currently meant to be birthing the next.

Skampaka, it is heroin mixed with some nonsense. In order to get people off of it, they use methadone, which is a opiate/herion treatment.

True,methadone is used to get addicts off heroin. Heroin is injected directly. Unga,(hash) on the other hand is smoked through a medium either cigarettes and or fangi. And this unga is what is messing up nigas in Mombasa...in my case I can mention the greater Tudor estate and its attendant slum Mworoto as an example where young men between 15 and 30 are done and dusted by this unga. Addiction to hash is a different kind of ogre all together.

I agree. I spent a bit of time in Malindi "kwa ground" and I can say that half them men in Watamu town are zombies. And it's also cheap, na Kshs 100, you can get a fix and zone out for the day.
