Rebuilding your brake calipers at a fraction of the cost of new

By the way after how long should you change your brakefluids mechanic?
Follow manufacturer's recommendations.
Some say 2 years some even more.
My rule of thumb, change it at the first hint of darkening.
Brake fluid darkens with the build up of contaminants.
Dump it when it it starts getting to a darker gold than when it was fresh from the bottle.

Also, be sure to get good quality brake fluid.
Avoid the crap they sell at petrol stations... If you see this brand they call Lacheka, cross the road and walk ng'ambo ile.
Left long enough in the master cylinder, it cakes into this gunk.

Good stuff @Introvert. However, majority of Kenyan men are beyond help matters DIY. You won't believe it nikikwambia kuna wanaume hii Kenya hawana hata nyundo kwa nyumba zao. Kazi kidogo kama kubadilisha bulb wanaitia fundi. Tell them to rotate their tires and watch them collapse to near death. No wonder watu wa boda boda na watchmen wanawakulia mabibi.
😁
Add the able-bodied, clueless ones who need assistance in checking tyre pressure.
