There was drama in Mutito Wa Ndooa area of Kitui County on Saturday when a mother demanded her bride price to be paid in full before allowing her husband to bury their son at his home shamba.
It took the intervention of area chief and family elders to convince her to allow the burial on promise the bride price would be paid days thereafter. She agreed but demanded the same be put down in writing and signed.
