A woman had been in a coma for three months. There seemed little hope until one day, while a male nurse was giving her a sponge bath, he noticed that there was a response on the monitor when he washed her ‘private area’.
The nurse told the husband what had happened and suggested: ‘Crazy as this sounds, maybe a little oral sex will do the trick and bring her out of the coma.’
The husband was skeptical, but the hospital staff promised to close the curtains to allow him total privacy. Besides, they said, anything was worth a try. So the husband finally agreed and went into his wife’s room.
But after a few minutes the woman’s monitor flat-lined. There was no pulse, no heart rate. The nurses dashed into the room. The husband stood there, pulling up his pants, and said sadly: ‘I think she choked.’
