Just Thoughts.. Help me reason

yes, that is why the bible is there so you can read it yourself and apply your own judgement and reasoning. There are people like you who choose not to believe in the bible but you choose to believe in something else with no proof but just faith
What is this something else that i believe in without proof? Coz i am yet to make any claims as to what i believe.

The fact that you say there is a bigger plan removes any chance of free will. You are just a cog in the machine that has no choice in which way to turn.
True to that! however you have free will in your everyday life. Like today you could have chosen to just stay in bed...and the cog you are apart of would have just turned with just a little small change, e.g. if you have children, you are risking not bringing food to the table, either way the cog turns

Everybody believes in something buddy, you cannot just trash other peoples believes if you do not believe in something yourself....your conviction is too strong for you to say you don't believe in something, that is why you are really engaged in this conversation

If god knew that i was going to stay in bed before i "decided" to stay in bed, then i have not made a choice. There was no free will on my part. Just the illuusion of it.

You said i believe in something without proof. Im still waiting for this to be shown?
My entire argument here has been on what other people believe beginning with prayer.
And yes i can absolutely trash your beliefs if they are unjustified, unsupported or illogical.

you hold alot of anger in your heart buddy if that is how you choose to see things

you are against Christianity and religion...so what do you believe in? luck, yourself, government...what ideologies do you live by?
Again. Very broad question.
Basically put, i dont believe in a god/supernatural being because whatever evidence or argument that i come across is not compelling.
So i do not necessarily believe actions should be taken based on what ones religious beliefs are. E.g i dont think you should get vaccinated because your religions tells you to..but if the only reason you would get vaccinated is because your religion advocates for it, then cool.

All I know is, christianity was forced upon us. This is not our religion.

What I agree with is that making choices based on religion is sometimes idiotic. It is why we have muslims chopping off heads ati because Allah told them to.

Centuries ago christians fed people to lions if they refused to convert.

I do believe there is a higher power. But that higher power did not put us on earth to kill each other. At the very least common decency should prevail.

I live by one simple rule: Do unto others what you would wish to be done to you.

In the absence of a supernatural being, what other higher power do you believe in? Government, money? there must be something

What do you mean "believe in"? Like exist?
Im not sure i understand fully what you are asking...
I believe in many things. Love, hope, logic..

Again, i dont know what mean by "believe in myself and fellow man".
Do i believe governments exist? Yes.
Do i believe governments are intrinsically good or bad? No i dont

do you believe everything is useless and in vain, if yes you lack hope, if no you definitely believe in a higher calling, that is what I am getting at

do you believe everything is useless and in vain, if yes you lack hope,
I believe some things are useless and in vain e.g prayer as i have pointed out earlier but in the same vein i have hope that humanity can and will do better collectively, i have hopes for my work and personal life.

if no you definitely believe in a higher calling, that is what I am getting at
Elaborate further why i would believe in a "higher calling"? And explain what higher calling means in this context..
