In two weeks time the schools reopen.

Problem is that there is no clear policy from Ministry of Education/ Magoha regarding schools opening and Covid.

On the other hand, School heads are demanding 100% of the fees to be paid before opening date.

Do you know that if after one month the schools are told to close your school fees itakuwa nimekunywa maji?

Mimi nakumbuka last year I paid full fees, the kid attended school for two weeks then wakaenda mid-term. During midterm they were ordered not to come back because of Covid. January this year bursar akasema hiyo fee imepotea. Nikasema haisuru.

Lakini this time itabidi hata kama nitachukua Sheria mikononi mwangu.

Covid imeumiza sans. Tulilipa online classes and the kids have to relearn the same stuff again. You end up paying twice and the kids find repeating the same stuff boring.

That might work with some ages and self discipline. Its hard to keep younger kids focused without supervision. There is also the socialization aspect of learning. I would still enroll them again if we had another lockdown (gods forbid).

Mimi niliangalia uniforms za last year hii mwaka nikaumwa sana. Kwanza kids gained weight and grew a few inches. Hizo uniform mpya za last year couldn't fit. Back to the shops!
