This is Guka - MondayTalk; Ni Feminism Inamaliza Wanawake?

Some people are going to say that I am victim-blaming but I want to hear from you esteemed senetas.

Over the last two months we have been hit by news of very gory murders of several fairly prominent women. Carol the businesslady. The KLC assistant director of communications. The Prado-driving KBS journalist.

CRAZILY, IT HAS EMERGED THAT ALL OF THEM WERE INTO SHADY 'TENDERPRENEURIAL' BUSINESS.

This has got me thinking; did these women take their entitlement too far? I mean, there are thousands and thousands and thousands of us men in the same business and we ain't dead because we know the rules and stick to them faithfully. Ukipewa deal hata ya Sh3 million, 10% ni ya wazee. Na hakuna kuruka - just give it. It's not yours.

Could these women - with their delusions eti they are equal to men - be making the mistake of thinking eti because they are women they are exempt from the laws of the jungle? Do they imagine they can walk away, like their lesser 'kula fare' and 'tumkunywe twende' slekwin sistas, with people's money with no consequences?

That's what I am thinking.

And its really sad then that our women have not realised this; there is never really a free lunch. Sooner or later, shit will catch up with you if you don't play by the rules. Very few men are going to agree to be played by a woman without consequences - shoka litatembea ama hyenas Ngong zitasherehekea.

I am not making a value judgement here, just making an observation.

Or what do you guys think?

Just this morning I had tea with a friend who gave her biz name to an insider in a certain organization to supply goods. This is how it works. An insider supplies where he works but because he cannot use any of his names -his companies and those of his relas - he gets one prequalified supplier to act as if he/she is the one supplying. The name giver gets an LPO, "supplies" the goods and invoices. When the cheque is out he/she banks it and gives the name borrower his money while retaining a pre-agreed commission.
Now my friend felt that the 20 per cent they agreed was too little now that the money is in the bank and was thinking of hiking the commission to 30 because - atanipeleka wapi?
I have just asked her one question - Hujasikia vile watu wanauliwa?

I am telling you. This is what is eating them.

Kama mtu hataki deals kama hizo aseme from the start.

There was a time a very very senior gavament official told me to take to him signed and stamped blank delivery notes and invoices. Nilikataa.

Next I hear one of Kenya's bigger scandals has broken out. Jamaa ako ndani.

It pays to be careful.

Hii attitude ya "kukula fare" naona kama ndiyo inawamaliza. Mwanaume kamili will keep his part of the bargain but these slekwins have become used to free passes. Watakipata I fear...............

Nowadays even women can be the principals in a deal, give them their cut, they also play by the rules. Btw Guka you are right they bring in their stingyness and entitlement into business deals trying to play everyone.

Free advice to everyone, if someone can play dirty to enable your deal through, he/she is ready to be dirtier to claim the cut.

Hii tamaa ya pesa tamalisa both genders.

Nataka Ngombe wa Maziwa at least 100 and no short cuts please am a straight as ruler person.
