Don't compare AIDS with Corona they are not at par. For one I need to have unprotected sex with someone infected for the other being near someone, anyone...a random meet and that is it....Corona is worse because of its mode of transmission

Effects cannot be any close. Just look at the economic costs. With HIV/AIDS, we have the ABC, with corona we have shutdowns.

If you disaggregate the data it might paint a different picture. A number of people survive with AIDS too with no known effects as to their physical strength with COVID19 no one knows the long term effects....
